Compulsory face mask

The face mask obligation applies in Zeelaan between 08:00 and 19:00 hours.

Who should wear a face mask?

  • walkers
  • cyclists
  • go-kart riders
  • scooter riders.

The different zones are clearly signposted.

At other locations in De Panne, wearing a face mask is not compulsory in public.

Worth remembering:

➡️ You are under obligation to carry a face mask on your person at all times.
➡️ Always make sure you are wearing a face mask in busy places or where you are unable to observe the 1.5-metre social distance.

Face masks are also compulsory:

  • on the public markets
  • inside shops and shopping centres
  • whilst travelling on public transport
  • ...

Thank you for observing the appropriate direction of travel as a pedestrian. Please follow the arrows and always use the pavement on your right.

The stewards are there to help you find your way around. Please do not hesitate to put your question to them!

Bubbles of 4

You are allowed to be out of doors as part of a group of no more than 4 people. Children up to and including age 12 do not count towards this number of 4 people. However, families consisting of more than 4 family members are allowed to be out as part of a group of more than just 4 people.
